Mayer Eisenstein, MD, JD, MPH is a graduate of the University of Illinois Medical
School, the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Public Health, and the John Marshall
Law School. He is Board Certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, American
Board of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and the American Board of Quality
Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He is a recipient of the Howard Fellowship,
Health Professional Scholarship, University of Illinois School of Medicine Scholarship,
and is a member of the Illinois Bar.
Dr. Mayer Eisenstein is the Medical Director of Homefirst Health Services, the largest
physician and midwife attended homebirth practice in the United States. Homefirst
provides a full range of family healthcare services in the greater Chicago metropolitan
area, with four medical centers. Since 1973, Homefirst doctors have delivered over
15,000 babies at home — most of whom have never been vaccinated — serving more than
75,000 parents, grandparents, and children.
Dr. Eisenstein has practiced medicine, delivered babies, and provided families with
preventive healthcare services for over 35 years. Since 1987, his weekly call-in
radio program, TheDoctor and the Pharmacist, has aired in Chicago. Some of his guest
appearances on television include Phil Donahue, Hannity and Colmes,and Oprah Winfrey.
In addition, he is the author of Make an Informed Vaccine Decision for the Health
of Your Child. Dr. Eisenstein’s healthcare philosophy — minimal reliance upon prescription
drugs, antibiotics, and medical intervention as a first line of treatment — comes
from his many years in medicine, public health, and law, combined with his years
as a husband, father, and grandfather.
Neil Z. Miller is a medical research journalist and the Director of the Thinktwice
Global Vaccine Institute. He has devoted the past 25 years to educating parents and
health practitioners about vaccines, encouraging informed consent and non-mandatory
laws. He is the author of several books and articles on vaccines, including Miller’s
Review of Critical Vaccine Studies;Vaccine Safety Manual for Concerned Families
and Health Practitionersand Vaccines: Are They Really Safe and Effective? Past organizations
that he has lectured for include the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association,
the International College of Integrative Medicine, Autism One, the Hahnemann Academy
of North America, and the Culture of Life Institute. Mr. Miller is a frequent guest
on radio and TV talk shows, has a degree in psychology and is a member of Mensa.
